My other hobby, vjing for crazy dance-clubs. I use filmclips, juxtaposed to create new meanings, to fill the space between my original work- which consists largely of 3D dancing characters (my fave is 'Speed Hag'), but there is also some fun psychedelia and the Brion Gyson inspired cutup generator, which spits out random newspaper cuttings into new and interesting sentences.

There is a small group of us, The Spectralists, and we perform at several small London venues that play music we like- quirky, electronic beep-music, such as Ginglik. We also sporadically run a mind expanding extravaganza of an audio-visual nightclub called... Acid Skiffle.

Building a rendered showreel using Visual Jockey software is harder than you'd think, on a good day the live work is tighter than this!
